On Saturday, May 9, from 11am-3pm, the first annual Rancho Santa Fe Street Fair will take place in celebration of Mother’s Day weekend. Festivities will take place along Paseo Delicias and will include the Country Squire Courtyard, the patios at Mille Fleurs and Delicias, Pantry, the courtyard at 6105 Paseo Delicias, and more. Local retailers will display items for sale in booths along the sidewalk, and will also donate items for a silent auction or raffle to raise funds for Kids Korps and its youth and family volunteer programs. A Taste of the Ranch will highlight local restaurants including Delicias and Mille Fleurs, which will ­­­prepare delectable appetizers for sale with a percentage of proceeds also going to support Kids Korps. A Kids Zone will feature youth activities as well as a Volunteer Village that will offer quick service project activities including making blankets for foster children, handmade greeting cards for the troops, and seed balls for habitat protection. To round out the event, adults and kids alike will enjoy a variety of live music and DJ entertainment during the event.   MIA STEFANKO
