Grossmont Hospital Foundation Gala

“Night at the Copa,” the 29th annual Grossmont Hospital Foundation Gala, will be held on Saturday, November 8, in support of Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s new Heart & Vascular Center, a three-story, 71,000-square-foot building that will enhance the hospital’s capacity to treat acute care patients and help decrease the high cardiovascular disease mortality rate in East San Diego County. The center will strengthen the ability to perform the most advanced minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures. Unbeknownst to most, Sharp Grossmont Hospital operates one of the busiest cath labs in the state of California.

The event will take place at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina beginning at 6pm with cocktails, raffles, and a silent auction. Guests will then make their way to the ballroom for a full course meal and live auction, and will listen to a testimonial from radio personality Shotgun Tom Kelly, who was a recent patient at Sharp Grossmont Hospital for quadruple bypass surgery.  The evening will end with live entertainment and music from Liquid Blue Band, voted the “Best Cover Band” at the San Diego Music Awards.
