Set for Saturday, November 15, at the Park Hyatt Aviara, the Tri-City Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball will feature an upscale dinner, music and dancing with a live band, the return of “Tri-City Rock Star,” a crowd-engaging singing competition featuring Tri-City Medical Center employees; a live auction and opportunity drawing with fabulous prizes and experiences ranging from sports packages to five-star getaways; and of course, lots of doing good. The Foundation is celebrating its 50th year and plans on breaking fundraising records — this year’s goal is $500,000 to benefit life-saving and life-improving services and equipment at Tri-City Medical Center. The event will be emceed by Billy Ray Smith and Kimberly Hunt. The Legacy Award will be given to Bob and Sandee Carter, who have generously donated their time and financial support to improving their community through Tri-City Medical Center.
