Park Hyatt Aviaras Masters of Food & Wine

Park Hyatt Aviara welcomed the return of its Masters of Food & Wine, a quarterly series of seasonal, locally-inspired culinary events. Attendees enjoyed a comforting take on pairings — tea and chocolate. The resort’s executive pasty chef Franck Riffaud and local certified tea master Chas Kroll teamed up to present a course in the art of tea pairings followed by a high tea service. Highly regarded in the industry and one of a handful of certified tea masters, Kroll explained the history behind each tea, special properties, and how the richness of the chocolate brings out the depth of flavors in each blend.
